AIRMAN'S ATTIC ( Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for active duty personnel & dependents)
The Airman’s Attic program provides a variety of items for personnel in the grades of E-6 and below. Personnel in the grades of E4 and Below are entitled to receive large furniture items that have been donated, and are encouraged to place their names on the waiting lists for the items they require.
These items include:
Clothing (Men's |Women's | Children | Babies)
Kitchen (Appliances |
Tableware |
Glassware | Giftware)
Household (Small / Large Furniture | Bedding | Electronics)
Leisure (Books | Games | Media | Craft Supplies)
As well as many other items that may be donated from time to time.
All donated clothing is washed by volunteers, and sorted into appropriate gender groupings.
Limits on items within the Airman's Attic are displayed and adhered to, in order to ensure all personnel have an opportunity to receive equal share of donated items.
All donations are gratefully accepted. Military clothing is also accepted for donation; however, we need military boots or shoes in serviceable condition to be donated. Uniforms are available in an 'as is' condition
LOAN CLOSET (8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday)
Family Services, the volunteer arm of your Airman & Family Readiness Center, has a loan closet of household items you may borrow until you receive shipment of your household goods. In our loan closet we have dish kits and pot/pan kits serving four or six people. Individual items are also available if needing that extra bit. We have car seats, port-a-cribs, strollers, high chairs, and booster seats for children.
We carry a supply of the following items too!:
Toasters
Coffee Pots
Irons and Ironing Boards
Card Tables, and Folding Chairs
Futon Mattresses
Alarm Clocks
Vacuum Cleaners
Fans
Televisions (limited)
Microwave Ovens (limited)
Most items are loaned for a 30 day period and a copy of Orders is required to borrow these items. Our extension policy is very liberal, as in some instances household goods may take a number of weeks or months to arrive in the area.
Depending on availability, Loan Closet items may also be borrowed by those members who are expecting house guests. These loans are generally limited to a one week period, however, extensions may be granted on a case by case basis.
