The Career Development Office manages:
- Permanent Change of Station (PCS)

Most of these programs can be reviewed on Virtual (v)MPF
PCS rips will be emailed to the member from Outbound Assignments
Retirements & Separations are processed through the vMPF; use the self-service link then the retirement or separation links. Read the directions and follow them. AFPC will do the orders and DD Form 214. The MPS will do the final out processing.
Career Status Bonus (CSB) is the $30,000 you can elect to receive when you choose to stay for 20 years of service and receive a reduced retirement percentage.

At the 14 ½ year mark: you are eligible and should receive your information from the MPS
- At 15 years: you will be paid out if you elected to take the CSB.
- Make the election before your 16 year mark, you are considered eligible for the Career Status Bonus. Contact us for more details.

Officer / Enlisted promotions can answer most of your questions in regards to WAPS material, WAPS testing, pin ons, etc.
Formal Training is in the Education Building and if you have a formal school related TDY, this is where you start.
Retraining is done thru vMPF; use the self service link and select retraining There you will see thorough directions to follow. For questions, contact Formal Training.
