Ranger Creek Goose Hunt (ODR)
Wednesday, December 09, 2020, 08:00am
Hits : 44

Goose Hunts take place over peanut, maize, playas, and wheat fields within easy reach of Haskell. The ability to hunt the fields the birds are using is why hunting is consistent even to the end of the season. Upon arriving, the guides and party will set out a spread of full-body decoys, floaters, or silhouettes. We use padded chairs and ghillie blankets A-frame or layout blinds to keep you hidden. Hunters do not dig pits. Hunting will take place until noon or limits are reached.

Cost is $30.00 per person for all AF Active Duty, AF Reserve, and their families. $230.00 per person for all other participants.

Trip Safety Briefing: ODR Hold Harmless Agreement waiver will need to be completed prior to departure for the event. ODR does not provide ammo or weapons. The participant must have a Texas Hunting license. All passengers will wear seatbelts while riding in GOV. All participates will receive a safety briefing and instructions by ODR Staff prior to leaving Dyess.
