As Dyess AFB begins the reopening phase plan, we will update the page as soon as the information is released. The information and changes are coming fast! Current Operational Changes

The Dyess AFB installation commander has directed Health Protection Condition (HPCON) Bravo in response to COVID-19. Outbreak of heightened exposure risk

  • All Military, DoD Civilian Employees, Family Members, DoD Contractors, and other individuals on Dyess AFB MUST wear mask/cloth face coverings when 6-foot social distance cannot be maintained. Click here for face mask examples www.af.mil/News/Coronavirus-Disease-2019/
  • Moderate: Strict hygiene (no handshaking, wipe common use items)
  • If exposed, self-isolate (wear mask or remain home)
  • avoid contaminated water/food or risk area; vector control

HPCON B measures are mandatory for all Dyess service members and are highly encouraged for DoD civilian and contractor employees, and family members. These measures are required to ensure the continued health and safety for our community.
